The 2nd round of National Vitamin A plus Campaign (NVAC+) 2019, was held on January 7, 2020. It was inaugurated by the honorable minister of the ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Zahid Maleque, MP at Dhaka Shishu Hospital, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. There were around 2,594,274 children aged between 6 to 11 months who had been fed blue capsules (1,00,000 IU) while 19,936,891 children aged between 12 to 59 months had been fed red capsules (2,00,000 IU). To make this campaign successful, different tires of advocacy meeting and volunteer orientation had been organized from national to union level targeting health workers and volunteers who had actively participated in this campaign.
